Don’t just say “write me a blog post.” Give Claude context first — who it’s for, what tone you want, and what the point is.

Try: “I write a casual tech blog for people who are new to technology. Help me write an intro paragraph for a post about why backing up your phone matters. Keep it friendly, not technical.”

The more specific you are, the better the output.

The first response is a starting point. Follow up with specific feedback:

• “Make it shorter”
• “The second sentence is too formal — rewrite it”
• “Add a real-world example”

Claude remembers the conversation so you don’t have to repeat context each time.

Paste your draft and ask Claude to improve it — but tell it what to preserve:

“Here’s my draft. Fix grammar and clarity but keep my casual tone and don’t restructure the paragraphs.”

This is often more useful than asking it to write from scratch.
